G6Touch is new PMP/e-Book Reader hybrid featuring a 7” Touch-screen with a 800×480 resolution capable to play 1080p Video (MKV, MOV, AVI, FLV, MP4, DAT, VOB…), Audio files (MP3, WMA, WAV…) as well as being used as your average e-Book reader with PDF, ePUB, PDB, HTML, UMD, CHM… file support. The G6Touch also comes with TTS (Text To Speech) and USB OTG.

Kindle WiFi Series now on Pre-Order

E-Reader Kindle announced its Pre-Order for latest Kindle upgrades. Now Kindle with Built-In Wi-Fi – In addition to the 3G wireless, it can be connected to Wi-Fi (802.11b/g) hotspots area. This latest Kindle claimed that it never gets hot to bring a comfortable while user Kindle reads the book. More lighter with 8.7 ounces united with ergonomic design. Unfortunately, Amazone notices that it newest Kindle will quickly consume more power when it using low coverage area or in Edge/GPRS coverage only.

Kindle will be released on August 27th.

MER-6T mobile e-book reading

Mustek will offer their own MER-6T mobile e-book reading device. No release date and price yet, but the device will features a 6-inch e-ink display with 800×600 resolution, 16-gray levels and touch panel, 2GB of internal memory but equips SD/SDHC memory cards slot for expansion. Other features include a 3.5mm audio jack, mini USB 2.0 port, and a built-in 1200mAh battery that provides up to 8000 pages of reading. As an e-book reader, the MER-6T will supports PDF, ePub, TXT, RTF, FB2, PRC/MOBI, HTML documents files as well as MP3, WMA, WAV audio and JPG, BMP, GIF and PNG images.
