At the Computex 2012 event ago, Lenovo showed off a Windows-based tablet device 8, and it is ThinkPad Tablet 2. The ThinkPad Tablet 2 will use a 10 inch screen and Intel Atom processor is privided on it. Now, Lenovo has officially announced the specifications and when these devices will be present on the market.

According to the source, Lenovo ThinkPad has a 9.8mm thickness. 10-inch screen that is used by the ThinkPad Tablet 2 supports a resolution of 1.366 x 768. Type of display used is IPS.
For connection Lenovo tablet device equipped with a 3G/4G. For Video out, Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet 2 added a micro-HDMI output.


2 HD camera also added on Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet 2, 2MP on the front and 8MP on the back.
If you want a secure device which very personally uses only, Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet 2 is also equipped with NFC, fingerprint features, and the pen (stylus).

Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet 2 is successor of the ThinkPad Tablet products. Previously, these tablets using Tegra 2 processor and operating system Android 3.1.

Windows 8-based tablet devices will be sold with a keyboard for optional which also serves as a dock with three USB ports, HDMI-out, and Ethernet.

Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet 2 will be available in October, shortly after Windows 8 already presented officially by Microsoft. Unfortunately, no pricing information of this device.
